This email is to inform you that the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) is coordinating a statewide public warning drill to test emergency alerting systems on April 2, 2026, during the window 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The purpose of this drill is to test and evaluate the effectiveness of our public warning systems and emergency communication procedures across the state. During the drill, warning systems may be activated, and notifications may be distributed through various channels.
Please note that this is only a test, and no action is required beyond standard awareness and cooperation.
